EAVE Marketing Workshop now with extended scope and new partnerships: APPLY NOW!

Don't miss the deadline for EAVE's Marketing Workshop, a hands-on four-day event where you can gain experience about the latest market trends and develop unique and innovative methods of marketing and audience engagement for your projects.

Participants can apply with or without a project in any stage of production and work on their projects with top-level marketing specialists, such as Head of Studies Pim Hermeling (September Films), trailer editor Fraser Bensted (Picture Production Company), Gudrun Burie (The PR Factory), marketing consultant Sarah Calderon (The Film Agency), interactive and social media consultant Dan Light (Glass Eye), producer Frans van Gestel (Topkapi Films) and many more to be announced soon.

The workshop is targeted at producers as well as professionals working in sales, distribution and marketing departments.  We also appreciate applications from related areas in the industry (e.g. regional and national funding institutions) and from relevant trainers and consultants.


For the next edition, the EAVE Marketing Workshop will be joined by 5 graduates of the renowned EAVE Producers Workshop and EAVE Puentes Europe-Latin America co-production workshop, who have trained over one year as specialized marketing professionals.


EAVE is also proud to announce its new partnership with the Financing Forum for Kids Content. Producers of their network will be offered a special discount rate. In addition, one of the applicants will be offered a full scholarship.

Discount of the workshop fee is also offered to EAVE graduates as well as to members of the EAVE partners from Europa International and Europa Distribution.

EDN Online Pitching Sessions 2016: RealYoung

October 11, 2016 at 14:00-15:00 (Central European Time). At the online EDN Video Conference Room.

The EDN Online Pitching Session is an online video conference, where a selected number of documentary projects are pitched and matched with decision makers fitting the specific profile of the projects. This pitching session is focusing on documentaries for children and youth and is part of the RealYoung initiative. But in addition to the projects selected for RealYoung we are calling for additional documentary projects focusing on younger audiences. The initiative is presented in collaboration with our partners IDFA and the Financing Forum for Kids Content. The submission deadline is September 20, 2016 at noon.

EDN Online Pitching is an initiative where 3-4 documentary projects are pitched to a group of hand-picked international financiers and decision makers. Each session will have a specific focus or theme. The pitching takes place online in the EDN Video Conference Room and each session lasts one hour. This session, which will be focusing on documentaries for young audiences, will take place on October 11, 2016 from 14:00-15:00 (Central European Time).
For this session we plan to have the presence of 4 - 6 financiers and experts with a special interest in documentaries for younger audiences. As soon as the names have been confirmed, they will be published here.

This online pitching session is part of the RealYoung initiative. It is a new initiative to lift documentaries for kids and young audiences to the next level.
