REALYOUNG WORK-SHOP TUESDAY MARCH 14TH

RealYoung is a specialized, multi-part program focusing on documentary stories for younger audiences. At RealYoung, filmmakers will develop, present and network with the aim of bringing their next kids or youth documentary across borders to an international audience. Experts from the industry and young experts will be joinig the workshop.

kids@docs is a new initiative by the Finnish documentary financers AVEK, the Finnish Film Foundation in collaboration with the public broadcaster Yle and the four productions will be launched at the Yle platforms in March 2017.

The Finnish production project kids@docs is especially adapted for online environments. It aims to find documentary content for kids at age 7-12, using a new digital language of storytelling.

We are happy to welcome one of the initators, Outi Rouso from AVEK, who will give an insight into the making of all four projects:

Maiden of the Lake - a web documentary using 360° technique
Dinnertime 360 - an interactive documentary & VR
